Rom Com Marathon: 9 Movies You Need to Watch or Watch Again

It’s February, the month of love! And one of our favorite genres any month of the year is the romantic comedy (i.e., the “Rom Com”). Though the month is almost over, why not do a rom com marathon this weekend with a few of our favorites? Whether you’re seeing these for the first or the tenth time, these feel good comedies will make you feel the love.

1. Love Jones

One of our favorite romantic comedies of all time. Takes us back to our college days. Did someone say, “A Blues for Nina”? It never gets old.

3. Something New

The movie that coined a new term for interracial dating. Reminisce on the reason why we loved Sanaa and the sexy Simon Baker together.

7. Boomerang

“Marcus, dahhhhling….” Remember how we all wanted to work in advertising and have a condo like Marcus Graham? It’s time for a refresher on this classic romantic comedy where Halle Berry was cast as the cute “girl next door” type.

Just released last year, About Time is a sweet story about love and time travel and epitomizes the notion of “carpe diem.”

Who can forget the line, “you complete me”? This movie gets us every time… And Cuba Gooding, Jr.’s “show me the money” scene is one of our favorite ever!
