What is the best advice you’ve ever received? You only live once

What is the biggest career risk you’ve made? How did that work out for you? I quit my job of seven years to begin pursuing my passion of writing. It has work out rather well, I am able to do creative works in my current career path, as well as pursue many of my creative writing endeavors.

Tell us about your book. What is it called and what is it about? Autumn’s Child. It is about a young girl name Layla. Her parents are killed suddenly in a car accident and she is torn from her middle-class suburban California life style to the inner-city streets of Chicago. Layla soon realizes that she may hold the key to her aunt’s poor health in her hands, but she must make many compromising decisions to walk that path. It’s a story of lost hope, learned love. A coming into reality story.
