Education: BA in Economics and International Business from DePauw University, JD from Indiana University, Law Consortium program at Howard University
Occupation: Vice President and Associate General Counsel for the Miami HEAT and American Airlines Arena (a position that she achieved before 35 years old)
Career Highlights: Prior to her position at the Miami HEAT, Eve held roles as Senior Director of Business Affairs at the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Associate at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. (Minneapolis office).
When she’s not running things with the Miami HEAT, you can find her: Speaking at various events, seminars and classes. She is a motivational speaker and seminar lead, and has spoken about everything from sports, law, leadership and marketing. You can see her this month at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit Feb. 15-18, 2012.
All work and no play: Though Eve has worked in sports for much of her career, she hasn’t been an athlete herself.
Her next big thing: Eve is writing her first book set to be out this year entitled Championship Seasons: Discovering The Winner In You!

Board involvement: Eve was recently elected to the USA Track & Field Board (which she shares with Jackie Joyner-Kersee), and has also served on the Board of Directors for Black Entertainment, Sports Lawyers Association, and Advisory Board for the Corporate Counsel Women of Color.
