Uncommon Uses for Common Things

We all have random things around the house or that we come into contact with that have uses far different than how they’re marketed. We want to let you in on some of our favorite uncommon uses for common things.
1. Dental Floss: Use un-waxed dental floss as a substitute for twine for meat trussing or thread for mending.

2. Coffee Filter: Use dry coffee filters for cleaning computer and television screens.

3. Toilet Seat Covers: You know how the toilet seat covers have that middle section? Before using tear that part out to blot oil from your face.

4. Newspaper: Use newspaper with your favorite glass cleaner as a substitute for paper towels. It will make the glass shiny and clear without leaving paper towel fibers behind.

Tell us: What are your favorite uncommon uses for common things?
