3 words that describe you: Compassionate, Authentic, Animated

What topic(s) do you write about?: I write about any topic that incorporates living a more empowered life through taking responsibility for one’s health, mind, body, and spirit. I also write on topics such as Healthy Eating & Making Fitness Fun

What is your biggest accomplishment?: I honestly don’t think I’ve achieved my biggest accomplishment just yet, but the closest thus far would be publishing my first book, Eat Your Disease Away in 2010.  Stay tuned, though, there is much more to come 🙂

What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?: I think the biggest risk that I’ve taken was in my decision to take the road less traveled in my career. When I started practicing here in Atlanta, it wasn’t “popular” to practice holistic (alternative) medicine.

What is your favorite TV show?: Oh… that’s a hard one… I”m going to go with NCIS.

Shuffle your iPod – what’s the first song that comes up?: Oh Father, by Madonna

What is your favorite travel destination?: New York! It’s where my Aunt Val and two Cousins Enike & Aisha are.

What beauty product can’t you live without?: Coconut Oil (does that count?)

Who is your celebrity fashion inspiration?: You are getting into some fuzzy territory here…

What is your favorite restaurant?: Ooooh! Too many… I’m a big foodie, but if I had to narrow it down, I’d choose Season’s 52 today.

What words do you live by?: “Be the change you want to see in the world” ~ Mahatma Ghandi
