Study Finds High Bulimia Rate in Black Girls

A new study finds that black girls are 50% more likely than white girls to be bulimic, with the highest rates coming from girls from low income households and those whose parents had a high school education or less. Some say that the data show that they are more likely to suffer from food addiction. Either way, this is a topic that has not been widely discussed in the black community.

Are you surprised by the study’s findings?
