Spring Wardrobe Must-Haves

Spring Must Haves
It may be difficult to believe that spring is coming especially if you, like us, are watching snow continue to fall. But don’t fret! Warmer weather and sunny skies are on the way and we want you to be prepared for the hottest trends the new season has to offer. Integrate these into your rotation to refresh that winter wardrobe:

#1 – Magenta Madness: That’s right, one of the staple lipstick colors of the ’90s is making its comeback in a big way through hues of hot pink, fuschia, and magenta. This color looks great on almost anyone and this ruffled sleeveless top from Nordstrom is a great way to express the trend.

#2 – Black and White: The stark contrast of these two colors has long been a classic choice for a clean, crisp look. This spring you will see feminine and artsy dresses like this strapless plaid dress. You can find it at the place to find a wide selection of black and white pieces any time of the year – White House|Black Market.

#3 – Pastel Scarves: Who says scarves are only for keeping your neck warm? This spring, when the coats come off, scarves will stay on as a way to add a splash of color or a  bohemian twist to any outfit. Look for scarves in lighter fabrics and pastel tones to wear over long or short-sleeved shirts and even dresses. This yellow scarf from Express is $29.50. For more options, check out this look with a dress at Banana Republic and this coral eyelet scarf from The Gap.

#4 – Exotic Animal Prints: Whether on a handbag, blouse or peep-toe pumps, animal prints are everywhere this season. Even Zac Posen and Louis Vuitton featured multiple pieces in their spring 2009 collections. You can grab these flat snake-leather sandals from Martin + Osa.
